2009年9月、東京は吉祥寺のアートセンターOngoingにて、「遠藤一郎エキシビジョン　おいらとゆかいな野郎ども」が開催されました。これはアーティスト遠藤一郎氏と彼に関係のあるアーティストやパフォーマーによる展示とパフォーマンスのイベントでした。私は当時所属していた若手アーティストグループ「FRESH」の一員としてこのイベントへの参加を呼びかけられました。
「FRESH」は各人の作品を会場へ搬入することでこのイベントへ参加することになっていましたが、正確な人数やこの無名のアーティスト達の氏名まで正確に把握する人はいませんでした。
そこで私は自分一人が抜けても運営に支障はないと判断し、そのとき思いついた別のアイデアを実行に移すことにしました。
私はこのイベントの期間中、イベントと遠藤一郎氏、その他参加者に対する応援ファックスを、吉祥寺の会場へ匿名で送信しました。これは日本テレビの番組「24 時間テレビ―愛は地球を救う」や北京オリンピック中継番組のパロディ行為でした。こうした番組では出演者や選手を応援するファックスを募集し、受信した大量のファックスを壁面に貼りつけ、生中継でそれを紹介することで視聴者と出演者、選手との一体感を演出することが恒例となっていました。
当イベントでは応援ファックスは募集していませんでしたが、遠藤一郎氏はそれを歓迎し、その意図を解してテレビ番組と同じように会場のどこかに貼り出すのではないかという予想が私にはありました。
イベント開催中の会場の状況を伝えるいくつかのWeb サイトに掲載された画像で、私は送信したファックスが展示スペースに貼られていることが確認できました。私は5 日間ファックスを送り続けました。
イベント最終日、私は会場に現れて自分がファックスの送信者だと名乗り、遠藤一郎氏と握手しつつ口頭で応援の言葉を三度述べました。
彼は受信したファックスを全て貼りあげていました。

In September 2009, "Ichiro Endo exhibition ― I and pleasant guys" was held in Art Center Ongoing in Kichijoji, Tokyo. This was an event of exhibition and performance by the artist Ichiro Endo and other many artists and performers who related to him. I was asked for participation to this event as a member of young artist group "FRESH".
"FRESH" participated in the event by carrying each works in the hall. There is no person who knows the accurate number of people and full names of these nameless artists. Therefore, I judged that there was no obstacle in the management even if I disappeared, and put another idea hit on at that time into practice.
I transmitted cheering fax to the event, Ichiro Endo, and other participant to the hall in Kichijoji by anonymity for the  period of the event. This was a parody act of program "24-hour TV program ― the Love Save the Earth" of Nippon Television Network Corporation and of Beijing Olympics's live-broadcast programs in Japan. In such programs, it is one of established custom to produce the oneness between viewers, performers, and athletes by accepting and introducing a lot of fax that cheers on performers and the athletes. Though any fax were not recruited in the event, I had an expectation that Ichiro Endo would welcome it, understand my intention, and paste them somewhere just like the TV programs. I was able to confirm the transmitted fax were pasted to a space by some images that were published in some web sites which told the situation of the hall. I continued sending fax for five days.
On the final day of the event, I appeared in the hall, introduced myself that I was a sender of the fax, and said cheering words three times in oral while shaking hands with Ichiro Endo. He had pasted up all received fax.
